ATM Portfolio Brokerage
ATM portfolios, valued on evidence.
EVYAR represents owners selling ATM placement portfolios and route-based networks, and introduces them to qualified buyers who understand how these assets earn.
Preparing an ATM portfolio for sale.
Buyers price ATM portfolios on what can be documented. The more complete the record, the more confidently a buyer can underwrite it.
- 01
Transaction history
Machine-level transaction and surcharge reports, ideally over a sustained period, so buyers can see volume trends at each location.
- 02
Location agreements
Placement contracts with each merchant or property, including term, renewal, revenue-share, and assignment provisions.
- 03
Processing arrangements
Current processor or ISO relationships, settlement terms, and whether those arrangements can be transferred to a new owner.
- 04
Equipment records
Make, model, age, and ownership of each terminal, along with maintenance history and any lease or financing obligations.
- 05
Operating model
How cash loading, servicing, and repairs are handled today, and what a buyer would need to replicate or replace.
- 06
Clean ownership
Clarity on which entity holds the machines and contracts, and any liens or encumbrances that must be resolved before closing.
How We Evaluate
Location quality, transaction history, and contract terms.
Two portfolios with similar machine counts can be worth very different amounts. Our review focuses on the factors that drive that difference.
- 01
Durability of locations
Whether volume is spread across many placements or concentrated in a few, and how secure those placements are over the remaining contract terms.
- 02
Quality of earnings
Net income after revenue share, processing, servicing, and equipment costs, rather than gross surcharge alone.
- 03
Transferability
Which location and processing agreements can be assigned, and which require consent from a counterparty.
- 04
Buyer fit
Whether the portfolio suits an operator expanding a route, or an investor who will need servicing arranged.
For Buyers
Acquiring an ATM business.
Buyers registered with EVYAR receive non-identifying summaries of ATM portfolios that match their criteria. Location-level detail is released only after a non-disclosure agreement and qualification.
Before acquiring an ATM portfolio, buyers should review machine-level transaction data, the assignability of location and processing agreements, equipment condition, and the cost of servicing the route. We recommend that buyers engage their own legal, tax, and financial advisors for diligence.
Common Questions
Before you begin.
- Will my locations or merchants be identified?
- No. Public summaries describe a portfolio in general terms only. Specific locations are disclosed only to qualified buyers under a non-disclosure agreement, and only with your consent.
- How is an ATM portfolio priced?
- Pricing depends on documented net earnings, how long the location agreements run, how transferable they are, and the condition of the equipment. EVYAR does not quote a value before reviewing the portfolio records.
- Can I sell part of a portfolio?
- Often, yes. Some owners sell a defined group of locations or a region. Whether that works depends on how the contracts and processing arrangements are structured.
